After attending LEGO kidsfest for the first time with my son I attempted to create a LEGO sphere using only basic bricks. I tried to
figure it out by myself but finally gave in and consulted the web for
patterns/solutions. Its much more difficult than I thought. I ran out of
LEGO bricks just after the halfway point. If my budget permits I'll order more from here and post results
